Dan Miller founded RightNow in 1997 after a successful ten year executive career in the mortgage lending, title insurance and real estate industries. Having worked with over 350 clients nationally, including eight of the ten largest publicly traded real estate related firms in the country, RightNow has become the market leader in leadership outsourcing, consulting, coaching and education.

Dan is a published author and highly sought-after keynote speaker, having delivered speeches on the subjects of sales, management and leadership at more than 220 real estate industry events nationwide. He has operated as a C-level interim leader at some of the largest real estate companies in the world, has coached over 300 senior level executives and entrepreneurs to advance their companies and their careers, and has been honored by national real estate and legal publisher October Research as one of "The Top 40 Under 40".

Knute Kallander

As a coach, trainer and Leadership Development Specialist Knute Kallander, M.S., has designed and implemented programs that promote team building, improve performance, and develop high-level communication skills. He has worked in a variety of business settings including, banking, high-tech, real estate, bio-tech, media, and non-profit organizations. Knute has coached managers and directors in team building, leadership training, and career development. In addition, he has certifications in results-oriented programs such as Lominger 360 degree feedback, behavioral interviewing, conflict resolution, and mediation. Knute has also led training programs on Dialogue in the U.S., Canada and Britain. As a Sales Management Leadership facilitator, coach and trainer, Knute has worked with struggling managers to improve the performance of their sales teams; increasing revenues, new clients and profitability measurements.

Knute has a M.S. in Organizational Behavior and Development, a B.A. in Human Development and Interaction, and is an International Coach Federation Certified Coach.

Knute's hobbies include back country hiking, mountain biking, and international travel. He shares these interests with his wife and their toddler.

Laura Compton

Laura joined RightNow in 2002 after more than 12 years in sales and sales management. Prior to RightNow, Laura worked in the field as a sales manager for a large health care company. Her BA in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley prepared her well for a career in sales. Her passion is, and has always been, helping others achieve their career and personal goals.

As a RightNow Consultant, Laura has helped both sales and escrow managers realize increased results from their teams; has recruited sales people, managers and executives from outside the industry; has assisted leaders in creating business development cultures; and has helped individual contributors, through coaching, to achieve greater sales results. "I especially get a charge when I know I've pushed someone out of their comfort zone, and they realize it's not so bad."

Laura's contributions internally are equally impressive. She has managed our internal recruitment process and has trained each of our consultants and coaches; she has also had a major role in content development for our onsite sessions and webinar and teleseminar programs as well as our research-based studies. Laura's resourcefulness, her insight, and her depth and breadth of knowledge make her an asset to both her clients and her coworkers at RightNow.

When not working, Laura enjoys seaside escapes with her husband and son, trolling garage sales, reading and lazy Sunday mornings with her family.
